The “Dock’n Drive” application will change the way Android Smartphones are used while driving. 30 tiles can be set as short-cuts to frequently used apps, favorite contacts etc. In full screen mode a gorgeous digital speedometer, an innovative “compass ring”, media play buttons optimized for Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Slacker etc. and current weather data are seen.

The “Dock’n Drive” application can be set to automatically launch and install as your new “dock home screen”. When inserting the HTC* or Samsung* handset into an iBOLT Dock Bluetooth is turned on, Wi-Fi turned off and screen time-out is disabled. (Leave "GPS" always on as it does NOT drain battery).

GPS and cell phone reception is optimized with the Smartphone positioned above the dashboard line. A Bluetooth hands-free solution is necessary when using the Dock’n Drive app.

-----------FUNCTIONALITY-----------

SPEEDOMETER:

The speedometer displays the speed in Kilometers per hour (KPH) or Miles per hour (MPH). It operates based on GPS signal and is generally highly accurate when driving. Touch on either speedometer to switch between small and full screen speedometer.

COMPASS:

The compass displays the GPS direction with three digits type “South 160” on the small screen. Full screen mode it is a “dial type” design that turns as the vehicle turns. The compass is satellite dependent and may not work when vehicle is standing still.

DIMMER:

The UI (User Interface) features a Dimmer” for brightness adjustment. Slide all the way to the left and the screen goes into “sleep mode” with a clock being displayed. Touch the screen and sleep mode is turned off. Great battery saving feature.

30 TILES TO CUSTOMIZE:

In addition to the Speedometer and Compass the main screen features 6 “tiles”. Each tile can be customized to feature your favorite Application, Direct dial, Link etc. There is a total of 5 pages available. To change between page 1-5, simply swipe left/right or use arrows provided on UI.

The “Edit Shortcuts” menu will let you add and delete shortcuts, change background color, skin, icon & font size and font color.

NEW - IT CAN WAIT:

Turn off incoming text messages while the phone is docked and iBOLT Dock’n Drive is active. Send customizable auto-replies to senders. On undock you’ll be noticed about new texts.

DISABLE SCREEN TIMEOUT:

Disable system screen timeout while device is docked

BRIGHTNESS MODES:

Select “System” and system settings will be used. “Auto” will use the device sensor for brightness settings. “Day” will turn the brightness to max and “Night” to the lowest level.

TOOGLE BLUETOOTH:

Auto turn on Bluetooth when device is docked and turn off Bluetooth on undock.

HIDE NOTIFICATION BAR

WI-FI

Choose if Wi-Fi should be disabled temporary or permanently

ROUTE TO SPEAKER:

Route calls to phone speaker if you don’t won’t them on your Bluetooth device

AUTO ANSWER INCOMING CALLS

SET DEFULT MEDIA VOLUME:

Set the media volume to a customized level when the device is docked.

TACTILE:

The setting for “Tactile” makes the phone vibrate when screen is touched.

DIFFERENT DISPLAY OPTIONS FOR TEMPERATURE, CLOCK AND SPEED:

Select between Celsius/Fahrenheit, 12/24 hours and MPH/KPH

CHECK GPS ON START:

If GPS is disabled open the settings screen

APP AUTORUN:

Start a selected app each time Dock’n Drive opens.

* Only HTC and Samsung handset features initiate "Dock mode" with select iBOLT product. Use NFC tag for other handset brands to launch app.
